For subtraction, the process runs in reverse. The algorithm iterates one day at a time, checking if each day falls on Saturday/Sunday or a US federal holiday.
Examples
Signed on Friday Jan 3, 2025 with 30 business days to respond → result is Feb 14, 2025.
Paid on Jan 15, next payday is 14 business days later → Feb 4, 2025.
Order placed Feb 1 with "5 business day delivery" → arrives Feb 7 (skipping one weekend).
